The brand’s reputation and appeal expanded in the post-war years following a blossoming trade with US servicemen and a commercial relationship with army exchange suppliers. The brand has seen many incarnations in recent years, with various owners seeking to trade on the name’s heritage and suits bearing the Alexandre London, Alexandre of England and Alexandre Savile Row labels with only the Alexandre London brand remaining today, owned and operated in the United Stats. The brand still manufactures suits at affordable price points and made from quality cloths, including the occasional Holland & Sherry, however they no longer do so by hand and to the same exacting finish as that which underpinned their surge in popularity in the 1950s.
